Early life and Family:

Uday Surya is his screen name which he established in the year 2022 prior to which he was known as Vivek S Punjabi.

A regular Sindhi-Punjabi boy born to a family of 5 including his parents B Shamsundar (retired Dev Officer LIC) & Dr. Archana S P & 2 sisters Sunayna and Prerana in bangalore did his schooling from Sindhi High School and later procured his electrical & electronics engineering degree from the college Sir MVIT also Where he developed his passion for acting and won the college a lot of awards in the cultural activities.

Acting career:

Trained in body & performance art but renowned professionals In Aadishakti (pondicherry)

Did a lot of theatre with quite a few renowned artists before he hit the silver screen with Lifeu Ishtene in 2011. Then perused his passion in serials predominately doin pivotal negative roles and then stepped back into the silver screen with Savarna Deergha Sandhi(2019).

Shot to sudden fame with his well appreciated role in Buddies Where he played a crippled dark skinned young boy who is also the main twist of the movie.

3BHK: A Suspense Horror movie in which he plays one of the lead roles besides Vijay Raghavendra & Divya Uruduga

The Hauntings Of Madhya Pradesh: which is a Hindi/Kannada horror feature film which has also won around 40 awards in the international film screening. Honeymoon in Bangkok: Horror Comedy feature film

Personal life:

Born to a Sindhi-Punjabi middle class parents with 2 sisters as siblings.

Previously known as Vivek S P, UdaySurya is Single and Unmarried.

Humanitarian work:

Along with being a talented actor, UdaySurya also takes part in various Philanthropist activities & also along with his best friend Kiran Raj under his NGO Kiran Foundation has done a lot of work towards a lot of individuals and families during the difficult COVID times. He’s aMai a regular social worker.

Public perception:

His costars find him highly entertaining and he is the center of attraction in the whole set but also immensely passionate about the roles he plays which he performs to his best capabilities. Never hungry to hog the screen attention but very hard to ignore on screen no matter what role he plays.
